geez.. it's been awhile
sigh... eventually, i come around to my blog.
Over 180 pixes, there are more about Toronto Pride and less about my gang and i. LOL. My group did their pixes too, but you'll have to check theirs out via their own sites. I had a wonderful time! The weather was gorgeous - not one drop of rain; Sunny all day and cool wind all nite. Below is a summary of my vacation. Sorry, I spare details, but perhaps pictures show everything to make u feel you're there. LOL.
Nite before day 1: on road trip from DC, USA to Toronto (Ontario), Canada.
Day 1: Checks out Niagara Falls, Ontario. Eat breakfast at Daybreak (delicious food). Checked in at hotels - Cosmopolitan (for Mason & Lee) & Ryerson U's ILLC (International Living Learning Center). Walked around Church Street (where Pride Toronto located) - lots of shopping & food vendors as well as local stores. Attended our canadian friends' party at their apartment. Wonderful time.
Day 2: Breakfast at ILLC. Continued more "window shopping" around Church Street. Mel and I signed up as volunteers for Dyke Parade. Free food for volunteering. Worked as water bottle carriers. Attend to free events: capella group with ASL interpreter, japanese drum, and hula dance performance.
Day 3: Pride Parade. Danced out with DJ performance on the street.
Day 4: Niagara Falls in USA - boat ride to CLOSE view of NF.
