support DVORAK!

Heh, you might think it's some kind of a political candidate running for an office. It's not. Actually it's about keyboard. Lately, my hands and forearms barely get a break cuz i had lots to do with it: communication (ASL/PSE), massage therapy, computer typing, playing games (via computer & video games), cooking, and whatsnot. Anyway, I began browsing for more ergonomics, but unexpectedly Dvorak popped up. I dug further. Dvorak seems useful so i decide to try it out.
"The Qwerty keyboard. We've been using it since the 1870s, when typewriter inventor C.L. Sholes moved letters around the keyboard so typewriter keys would stop jamming.

Well, we don't use typewriters anymore. Technology has caught up with human dexterity. Jamming keys are no longer a problem. And the gymnastics our fingers do on the Qwerty keyboard can exacerbate repetitive stress problems."

Yes, some of the articles seem outdated to modern tech's world. However, it's still useful (and it should be for today's). Overall, the reviewers said good cuz all "important" letters are in home rows. So it's time to change?? YES! We all need healthy hands.

Fortunately, your computer or laptop actually have in its system. If ya'll have mac (like i do), go to system preference, click International, then click "Input Menu". You'll see "Dvorak." Also click keyboard viewer so you can see as you try it. OR you can label ur keys with sticker labels. PC has Dvorak too - instructions provided on other sites listed above.

So try it out, ya'll. I am. I'll let u know after 1 month of using this method.

PS- i have new pics to upload related to other events - will post it up soon!!!
