limitation

updating / revising this whole looks took me awhile. I had to brush up my html lang skillz here. As u can see, I change my conception of my bloglife; added "personal profile" (not like it's gonna be real personal); change the typeface's size here and there; oh, and i finally add my first image on my blog. Looks like i'll add more photo in the future, but we'll see abt that. Loading up pics from dial-up modem can be a pain in the neck. ::sigh:: i was spoiled with net's speed - back in my college days, but I'm used to dial-up anyway.

limitation sucks the heck out of me. I'm using safari browser on my sweet Alum_PB laptop, which is fine. However, "editing" on blogger prevented me to be bit creative here and there (yet, i keep my eyes peeled to find loopy holes). Few supported browsers offered to my Alum_PB, but I hate downloading, especially i'm using dial-up modem. Eventually, I'll give-in & go ahead with downloading 26 mb of one tiny browser program into my Alum_PB ... or not. Moving on....

Happy 229th Birthday, USA. Our young mom country has been thru so much -- boston tea party, civil war, immigration, womyn's right, industrial era, out-of-USA hefty wars, civil rights, hippies' times, BC, disco era, oil spills, AIDS, DPN, pop culture, slackers, dot com bust, gay marriage rights, and... well... MORE..

Before I end my post here, I leave u a speech from former prez of US in July 4, 1996:
"Today we are living through another period of profound and historic change: change in the way we work, the way we live, the way we relate to one another and to the rest of the world. But the truths set down in our Declaration of Independence are immutable, and they continue to light our path into the challenges and possibilities of the future. Equality, individual rights, life, freedom, opportunity: we still cherish these values, and we must continue to reaffirm them daily."
