missing

Past 2 months, I missed my chance to blog. This weekend, my sweetie and i will be out of town, so i ought to grab my chance to blog before it's too late. I need to keep up with my philosophy in blog world.

Past 2 month, barely breathing naturally in pollen invasion ::sneeze!:: yet i used that allergy pill. Unfortunately, that pill makes me drowsy - barely keep my brain up.

This month's busy for me - being out-of-towner last weekend and this coming weekend; study, study, study -> got me exam to pass it!; and work, work, work. Yesterday, I was brushing up my email duty. Gladly, clients & pals gradually (if not immediately) response to my mail.

Speaking of out-of-towner, my sweetie and i went to NYC - watch my sister's MFA thesis reading & meet the rest of my family. First, we stayed one nite at my old colleague's apt in NJ. Nice homey place, but snoopy (partner's pekingese) was a meanie barker. ARF ARF ARF!

Then comes family time. My partner was nervous meeting them, but my mom expressed kindly - it helps ease my partner to greet and talk to the family. My father was down-to-earth, yet he doesn't talk much - laid back, i guess. My brother is a good kind brother to meet. Before we meet my family, we met my sister first at her lovely loft. She greeted us especially she hugs me and show her silly, usual "bump-cheek-to-cheek-long-rockin-hug." Ha-ha, but she's fun.

MFA thesis reading was lo-o-ong. It started at 7 pm and ended late 11 pm. Good thing, there was 2 intermissions. I thanked my sister for requesting ASL interpreters. Although reading & poetry were bit difficult, interpreters pretty much keep up with it.

Now, when it comes to meal time, mostly filipino restaurants were selected. Can't remember the names of food cuz it's in tagalog or i just plainly can't remmy. Great food tho! I got my "once-in-blue-moon" dessert: halo-halo. Yum. Then there's Katz's: "Where Harry met Sally" scene shows full of sexy "OHH-oooHH-OoOoOhhhh."

I'm glad it turns out well with everything. Except for bagels. We wanted to grab NYC bagels before we hit back to DC, but we ran out of time. argh. Next time.
