gone for awhile
February 19 - I have been long gone from blog world. Plenty to write. I'm just gonna sum it up here. Heh.
Since my birthday is on V-Day, a little celebration of me and a whole lotta love from everyone: my partner, my family, and friends. Sweet of 'em. Lots of goodie.
On that evening, we went out on double date with other couple at gallery restaurant (click here to its website) in Silver Spring, MD. The food is fabulous. They served exquisite dishes with contemporary flavors from Caribbean, Central, and South America. The interior design looked awesome. It's like a restaurant version of Halo bar. Glowing lights of the bar, cool & calm color, and delightful host. It was a wonderful evening for us to have a lovely conversation with another couple. The place is not to crowdy, not too quiet... just mellow. I ordered mixed greens salad w/ pumpkinseed vinaigrette (appetizer) & plantain crusted salmon (main entree) )for me and albondigas (appetizer) & braised lamb shank (main entree) for my partner. Delicious! I applauded the chefs for their effort. On the other hand, waiter delivered their presentation poorly, but he kept apologizing everytime he made a mistake. Aside from that, everything's just fine. Y'all should go there soon... great environment.
