inner harbor @ baltimore

Last nite, we went to Baltimore Inner Harbor to have a look around. I must say it's quite improved its look since we went there last year. We were looking a place to eat. Attention, sushi lovers out there: edo sushi is definitely a place to eat. A friend of mine (well, printfreak!) really loved the thickness of sashimi or bigger size of "meat" in sushi @ California Rollin' (Rochester, NY). I went there before, and I agreed until management changed, so i didn't go there. Well, printfreak, guess what? Edo sushi @ inner harbor has done a great service & yummy food with me and my partner. Great ocean view.

Our waiter offered us a HAWT towels to start and again, after meal. Since it's happy hour at that time, edamamae cost only 1 dollar. CHEAP. I ordered tuna (8 pieces, about $4.50) & philadelphia maki (8 pieces, about $5). Mel ordered chicken teriyaki (go with salad or miso soup). When our orders arrived, I was impressed. The tuna meat is thick, and philadelphia maki is filled with cream cheese, smoked salmon, and avocado (or cucumber? couldn't remmy). Tasted great. One minor problem, soy sauce - it has weak flavor and I assumed too much water, so be sure to ask waiter to change the soy sauce. It didn't get in my way tho. Mel's entree doesn't have one set of chicken teriyaki; it has 2! Wow, huge entree., but she ate one and the rest of leftover in a box-to-go. Like fortune cookie when a check arrive, we had interesting cookie - strawberry cookie. Yummy. A good ending to our meal.

On a cool weather in January (which is bit odd, but good!), We walked around Inner Harbor. The Baltimore Aquarium has new sector of Austrailian features. It's a beautiful glass architecture - similiar to its original, but we can see clearly - amazing well-set nature looks from "down under." No, we didn't go there because we knew we don't have much time. We will go back again sometime soon.
